EcomViper is a merchant-submitted product intelligence and discovery platform. Our goal is to help shoppers, merchants, search engines, and AI agents better understand products through structured, clear, responsible, and useful product information.
1. Purpose of This Editorial Policy
This Editorial Policy is intended to explain how EcomViper approaches product content, product pages, benefit explanations, ingredient information, FAQs, comparisons, marketplace links, shipping context, claim-sensitive language, and AI-readable product data.
Our editorial goals are to present product information clearly, organize merchant-submitted product data into useful public pages, support better product discovery for people and AI systems, use responsible language for claims and benefits, distinguish informational content from professional advice, improve transparency around sources and merchant submissions, and correct or remove inaccurate, outdated, unsupported, or high-risk content when appropriate.
2. What EcomViper Publishes
EcomViper may publish product pages and related product intelligence that includes product names and descriptions, brand and merchant information, product images, product summaries, product facts and specifications, ingredients/components/formulations, benefit explanations, FAQs, product comparisons, marketplace and “where to buy” links, shipping and fulfillment context, certifications, trust signals, supporting documents, claim review notes or disclaimers, structured data, and AI-readable product information.
Content may appear on product pages, ingredient pages, benefit pages, question pages, comparison pages, category pages, marketplace pages, or other public EcomViper pages.
3. Merchant-Submitted Product Information
EcomViper product pages are based in part on merchant-submitted information. Merchants may submit or authorize product information through approved iBrains tools and workflows, including app.ibrains.ai.
Merchant-submitted information may include product descriptions, images, labels, ingredients, benefits, claims, marketplace links, shipping information, FAQs, supporting documents, and related materials.
Merchants are responsible for the accuracy, legality, ownership, completeness, and compliance of the information they submit or authorize.
EcomViper may organize, edit, structure, enrich, decline, remove, or update merchant-submitted information. However, EcomViper does not guarantee that all merchant-submitted information is complete, current, accurate, compliant, or suitable for every user.
4. Sources of Product Information
EcomViper content may be based on merchant-submitted product data, product labels and packaging information, product feeds, public product pages, marketplace listings, checkout or merchant store data, shipping and fulfillment information, uploaded files and supporting materials submitted through approved iBrains workflows, publicly available references, certificates, lab reports, other merchant-provided documents, internal EcomViper and iBrains intelligence systems, and AI-assisted data processing and content generation.
When possible, EcomViper aims to structure product information in a way that helps users understand where product claims, product facts, benefit explanations, and supporting context come from.
5. AI-Assisted Editorial Workflows
EcomViper uses artificial intelligence, automation, structured data processing, and internal intelligence systems to help organize product information. AI-assisted workflows may help with product summaries, benefit explanations, ingredient/component organization, FAQs, comparisons, claim-sensitive language review, structured data generation, AI-readable product intelligence, search and discovery optimization, source organization, and content consistency checks.
AI-assisted content may be reviewed, edited, approved, corrected, declined, or removed by EcomViper, iBrains, merchants, or authorized team members. AI-assisted content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or incomplete context. EcomViper does not represent AI-generated or AI-assisted content as perfect, final, or guaranteed.
6. Editorial Standards
EcomViper aims to follow these editorial standards:
- Clarity: Product information should be understandable to shoppers, merchants, search engines, and AI agents.
- Usefulness: Content should help users understand what a product is, what it contains, what it is designed to support, where it may be purchased, and what important limitations or disclaimers apply.
- Structure: Product intelligence should be organized into clear sections such as product facts, benefits, ingredients, FAQs, comparisons, shipping information, and marketplace links where appropriate.
- Responsible Claim Language: Claims, benefits, and product descriptions should avoid unsupported, exaggerated, misleading, disease-treatment, or high-risk language, especially for supplements, wellness products, health-related products, and other regulated categories.
- Transparency: Where possible, EcomViper should make it clear when content is merchant-submitted, AI-assisted, source-backed, claim-sensitive, or subject to change.
- Correction Readiness: EcomViper should be able to update, correct, revise, or remove content when new information becomes available or when an issue is identified.
7. Product Claims, Benefits, and Compliance-Sensitive Content
Some product categories require extra care, including dietary supplements, wellness products, health-related products, personal care products, financial products, regulated goods, or other compliance-sensitive categories.
For these categories, EcomViper may use claim review workflows and claim-safe language to reduce the risk of unsupported or misleading statements. EcomViper may edit or avoid language that suggests a product diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents disease unless such a statement is legally permitted and properly supported.
Benefit explanations are intended to describe general product positioning, ingredient context, structure/function-style support, or shopper-relevant product information. They should not be treated as medical, legal, regulatory, financial, or professional advice.
8. Dietary Supplement Content
For dietary supplements and wellness products, EcomViper may publish information about ingredients, serving size, directions, benefits, formulation details, product labels, certifications, claims, and marketplace availability.
However, EcomViper does not provide medical advice and does not guarantee that supplement-related claims are evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Products listed on EcomViper are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease unless expressly allowed by applicable law and supported by appropriate regulatory authorization.
Users should always review the product label, warnings, ingredients, directions, and manufacturer information before using any product. Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional when appropriate.
9. Reviews, Rankings, and Recommendations
EcomViper may publish product comparisons, product intelligence, product summaries, marketplace information, or buyer guidance. Unless expressly stated, the appearance of a product on EcomViper does not mean that EcomViper endorses, certifies, guarantees, or recommends the product.
If EcomViper publishes rankings, comparisons, or recommendation-style content in the future, such content may consider factors such as product information quality, merchant-submitted data, available sources, marketplace availability, structured product attributes, claim safety, user intent, category relevance, and commercial relationships.
10. Affiliate and Commercial Relationships
EcomViper may earn compensation through affiliate links, referral links, sponsored placements, merchant subscriptions, usage-based fees, product publishing services, marketplace relationships, or other commercial arrangements. Commercial relationships may help support EcomViper’s operations, hosting, product intelligence systems, AI-assisted workflows, and continued development.
Affiliate or commercial relationships do not guarantee product quality, safety, effectiveness, legality, compliance, or suitability for any individual user. EcomViper aims to maintain responsible editorial practices even when commercial relationships exist.
11. Updates and Corrections
Product information may change over time. Prices, availability, marketplace links, shipping estimates, ingredients, product labels, claims, certifications, and merchant details may become outdated or inaccurate. EcomViper may update, revise, remove, reorganize, or republish content at any time.
Corrections may be made when product information is inaccurate or outdated, a merchant submits updated information, a marketplace link changes, a claim requires revision, a source is no longer available, a product is discontinued, a compliance concern is identified, a legal/privacy/IP/safety issue is reported, or EcomViper identifies an error through internal review.
To report inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or potentially misleading product information, contact [email protected]. For legal, privacy, intellectual property, or claim-related concerns, contact [email protected].
12. Product Page Review and Removal
EcomViper may review, revise, limit, unpublish, or remove product pages or content at its discretion. Reasons may include inaccurate or unsupported product information, misleading claims, high-risk claim language, intellectual property concerns, merchant request, product discontinuation, marketplace or checkout issues, safety concerns, legal or regulatory concerns, violation of policies, or technical/data quality issues.
EcomViper is not obligated to publish, maintain, update, or restore any product page.
13. Third-Party Content and Marketplace Information
EcomViper may reference or link to third-party websites, marketplaces, merchant stores, checkout pages, product pages, or external sources. Third-party information may change without notice. EcomViper is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, policies, claims, prices, shipping, returns, refunds, privacy practices, or content of third-party websites.
14. Independence and Limitations
EcomViper aims to provide helpful, structured product intelligence, but it is not a regulatory agency, testing laboratory, medical provider, law firm, financial advisor, certification body, or marketplace operator. EcomViper does not independently test every product, verify every merchant claim, inspect every facility, validate every certificate, or confirm every marketplace listing.
Any trust signals, source references, claim review notes, or product intelligence should be understood as informational aids, not guarantees.
15. User and Merchant Responsibility
Users are responsible for reviewing product labels, merchant information, marketplace terms, warnings, directions, and professional guidance where appropriate. Merchants are responsible for the product information, claims, images, documents, and marketplace links they submit or authorize.
EcomViper may help organize, structure, and review product information, but it does not replace merchant compliance obligations or user judgment.
